Ren's constant is the time of a day on all the planets that Ren, the Elemental Lord of Nature, creates, and has since become an intergalactic standard. Earth follows this system. Aef generally follows RCT, except its "Year" is every 2 Earth years (730.5 days), and thus its 'Leap Year' is once every two years. For this reason, if it was the year 2013 on Earth, it would be the year 1006.5, roughly.

- Hour: 60 Minutes
- Day/Night: 24 Hours. This is from Midnight to Midnight.
- Year: 365.25 days, or 365 days and 366 once every four years.
Note: When people start getting up to Days, Years etc., things become a little convoluted, as several planets do not follow the general standard. Aef, for example, has a twice length year when compared to the standard. This is partly due to Theia's (Aef's) origin in another solar system.
